Wireless Cell Phone providers have many programs to provide discounts to employees of select corporations and students at select higher education institutions that have made deals with them. The problem is, a lot of us just don’t qualify for these deals as we are not employees of a corporation or students at a school involved in the programs.

StudentRate has a goal to provide all sorts of discounts to college students, and now have some great discounts for Sprint, AT&T Wireless, and T-Mobile subscribers (or new subscribers). By following the instructions on the site you can apply for the discount and get reoccurring discounts of 10% on AT&T and T-Mobile as well as 15% at Sprint! I gave the AT&T Wireless discount a go and it worked out great. I just used the email StudentRate gave me and filled in a few details about my account on AT&T’s discount signup site. After that I was instantly confirmed and had a 10% off discount applied to my rate plan. Easy as that! With AT&T, you also become apart of the Premier system after apply a discount like this which gives you a different CSR department and new online store to order phones from (which I found to have mostly the same prices, but potentially could have some extra deals).
