Vaja i-Volution Grip for iPod Touch
Price: $60
www.VajaCases.com

Design 9/10

Very similar to the i-Volution GT, the i-Volution Grip for iPod Touch shares the exact same back piece as the i-Volution GT but does not have the flip cover. This is great when using it as you do not have the front cover in your way, but it also removes some of the protection that the i-Volution GT gives you thanks to the front cover.

Build Quality 10/10

Out of all the cases, Vaja continues to impress by having awesome build quality even for a handcrafted case. All the edges are perfectly finished and the leather is perfectly put together. The leather itself is also nice and soft yet durable. It is a bit less cushioned feeling than cases like the Piel Frama leather case, but it fits much tighter around the contours and thus needs to be this way.

Usage 9/10

In usage the is very nice to use and even easier than the i-Volution GT since you do not have the front cover in your way when using it. The downside though is that you receive much less protection since you no longer have the front cover protecting the dock connector and front of the iPod Touch.

Price 8/10

The price is a bit better than the i-Volution GT, but still a bit expensive for just a small piece of leather.

Pros:

  • Handcrafted Quality
  • Great leather feel, quality, and durability
  • Unbelievable fit
  • Tons of customization
  • Lightweight and stays out of the way

Cons:

  • Price
  • Very little protection for the iPod besides the back

Thanks to Vaja Cases for the review sample!
