OtterBox - Impact Series for iPhone 4 OtterBox has always been one of our favorite case manufacturers. Starting with rugged cases that could protect your device through just about anything, OtterBox has shifted their focus to include cases across the spectrum of protection enabling you to pick your balance of protection and size. The Impact Series we are taking a look at right now is the cheapest case for the iPhone 4. As usual, OtterBox has wrapped the Impact for iPhone 4 in a great looking retail package. This time the package actually has a slide out tray that presents the Impact case proudly. Inside you will find the case itself and a little fold up pocket that has a screen protector. The Impact Case is one piece of rubber that you slide the iPhone 4 into. It has cutouts for all the iPhone's functions even the Apple Logo on the back. Unlike most skin cases, the Impact series is a bit thicker and has a honey comb inside that helps provide even more cushion. It also has nice grip patterns around the edges that ensure you get a good grip on the case at all times. Once inside the case, the fit is very good though a bit loose around the screen at times. This is very common with rubber/silicone cases and the Impact series does not completely escape it. Besides that the fit is very good and everything lines up nicely. Here you can see the back of the Impact Case for the iPhone 4 with cutouts for the Camera/Flash and Apple Logo. Overall the Impact Case is a good cheaper case option, though I would definitely recommend spending the extra cash for the Commuter Series. The fit is good, the quality of the rubber is excellent, and the design and styling definitely sets it a part from cheaper rubber/silicone case options. Pros:
