I am sure you have already heard the news, but if not here it is.

The second generation of the Microsoft Zune (the Zune 2) will be coming out in November. Along with a new 80gb large size Zune, there also will be 4gb and 8gb Flash Zunes. All have Wifi, support video playback, and feature the new squircle navigation button that seems to be a cross between a touchpad and button interface.

The prices will match the comparable iPods at $149, $199, and $249. In my mind this seems like a great deal considering the Zune has a larger screen, Wifi, FM Radio, and is the same price!

If you are one of the current Zune owners have no fear though, Microsoft is being nice enough to send out a software update for the first generation Zune that will add the new interface tweaks, wifi syncing, and some other neat features that the new Zunes will have!
