The first step in my opinion is figuring out the general type of case that you want to use (Leather Case, Hard Case, Soft Case, Screen Protector, etc.). To do that you will want to look at your needs and usage, plus your own personal preference for what you like to carry and use on your device.

For a slim fit and case that will meet an active lifestyle, Hard Skin cases have always been a great option. With cheaper designs from companies like JavoEdge and Boxwave, plus some more specialized premium products from companies like Contour Design and OtterBox, we will give you a good look at some Hard Skin options for the iPod Touch. Each product will be rated in four categories including Design, Build Quality, Usage, and Price.

There are a few cheaper options not to mention a few very premium leather options such as Piel Frama and Vaja (that carry a premium price as well!). In this roundup we will look at a few of our past favorites including Sena Cases, Piel Frama, and Vaja Cases, plus a new contender that looks like it has some potential. Each product will be rated in four categories including Design, Build Quality, Usage, and Price.
