Brando X50v Leather Flip Case
Brando is a company from Asia that has always had a wide range of accessories and products for the mobile lifestyle. Now lets take a look at their case for the X50v. The case comes in a good looking retail blister pack in a small box. Inside you find the case and a removable swivel belt clip and removable belt clip post. The case's leather is a little bit lower quality then some of the other leather cases I have reviewed for the X50v. It still looks and feels nice, but it just seems a little less quality when you compare the cases side by side. The fit however, is very good. A unique feature on this case is a removable clear card holder (great for a ID badge or driver's license). On the top flap there also are slots for 3 credit cards and 2 SD cards. The case stays shut by use of a magnetic pad on the end of a strap with a dimple in the middle so it lines up perfectly every time. The magnet is easy to undo, yet strong enough to keep the case securely shut. There are cutouts on the case for all the essential buttons except the reset button on the back. You will have to take the PDA out of the case to use the reset button. The bottom of the case consists of two simple straps and in my mind does not provide a lot of protection. But the design does give a good look and adds interest to the case. The belt clip consists of a removable post and the belt clip itself. First you need to screw on the post to the back of the case. Then you can slide the case on and off the belt clip itself. Overall the Brando case gives off a good image and feels good in your hand. The case offers all the features of an expensive case at a reasonable case. Pros:
