Bullguard Clear Cover for the Dell Axim X5.
www.Dogwithabone.net

This is the third Bullguard Cover I received from Bulldog and I can honestly say this is the best one! If you own an Axim, and you probably do because you are reading this AND you are familiar with the Ipaqs, you most likely thought the following at least once: I wish my axim was somewhat smaller.....

It's ok when I have it without a case but the moment I put it in one, it's just a tad too big to have in in my pocket.
Those days are over now, this is the ONE case (and I should know, at this moment I owned 11 cases for the X5) thats doesn't add
any bulk or weight!

This is what the maker of the Bullguard says over his cover:

Quote:
DogWithaBone Executive Cover for Dell Axim X5. This cover is made BY HAND out of Kydex and was designed to protect ONLY the face of your Axim X5. I have other cases that I use when it is at risk of being dropped. I needed a case that I could EASILY slip in and out of my pockets.

Nobody made one that I found acceptable, so I made it myself. When is the last time you bought a quality product that was handmade? I make each one of these by hand as they are ordered.

I don't think this one is made of Kydex but Bulldog will most likely reply in this thread telling us what material he is using now.
The cover does exactly what it's supposed to do, protect your screen! The axim is such a sturdy device it only need to have something to protect the screen when you use it in a normal way.

I actually use this cover all the time, except when I go somewhere where I don't have my coat with me, then I use a Aluminium case so I can throw it into my backpack. For the rest I only use the Bullguard to protect my axim, I carry it in my coat or the back pocket of my pants.
The cover I have has some very well placed cut-outs.

As you can probably tell from the pictures you can use the axim without having to remove the case! You can check your agenda, mail, task and more because you can access all the buttons you can when you have the Axim without a case! The only thing you cannot use is your screen, but for checking mail/agenda and/or you MP3 player you don't need it!

This cover will, without a doubt, make you like your Axim more, because you will love the new "take with you size" and ofcourse the things you can do with it when still in the cover.

Rating:
I have given this product 5 out of 5, something you will not see me doing a lot but this products is "perfect" for you Axim, I even thought Dell should make them their "standard" cover Smile

Pros:
- Protects the screen really good
- Doesn't add ANY bulk
- Doesn't add weight
- Looks really cool
- Let you use all your buttons
- Best thing: Lets you see your screen while using the cover!
- Made of bullet proof material

Con:
- Made of bullet proof material but if you take your keys over it with just
a little bit of pressure it will scratch, minor but hopefully fixed with the
new material.

Note: I know Bulldog is looking for a new sort of material to use so future covers might not offer bullet protection (as if we need it Smile )

So I would say:
"Visit the link, buy one of the cases NOW, wait till you receive it and start having even MORE fun with your Axim, I did!
