Nutshell Leather Case for X50v I received my case straight from Nutshell in New Zealand. It took awhile to come, but I think it is well worth the wait. It came in a simple very padded pouch through the regular mail, and was in perfect shape when I took it out of the packaging. They even put a styrofoam block inside the case to hold the shape of the case while being shipped. The quality of the leather is amazing. It is very soft, and yet a super tough leather that I do not think you could hurt easily ever. The craftsmanship is great, and the case has a great overall look. My case came with the standard flip over tab on top and a belt clip/loop ring on the back. The belt clip and ring are non removable and the ring is at the top of the belt clip. The belt clip and ring are all metal, except the belt clip is covered in leather on the visible side so it looks professional. The whole belt clip/loop is very very strong and you would never have problems with it coming off from your belt. As for protection of your PDA, this case probably provides the best protection of all the leather cases I have used. It is very tough leather, yet very soft feeling. The case is durable and holds its shape well, plus it fits my X50v perfectly and holds it snug. One thing I do not like is that the tab does not come all the way down (because of the positioning of the velcro on the case) so your unit can slide up and down in the case a bit. But besides that, the fit is perfect. You can see the tab in this picture: I would strongly consider this case if you want the look of leather yet need a very durable strong case to keep your PDA safe for years to come. I really like this case, it is low profile, good protection, and good quality.
Thanks to Nutshell for the Case to Review! |
