Proporta  X50 Series Leather Book Case
www.Proporta.com
Price: $34.95 USD

The Proporta Leather Book Case's main feature is that it has an aluminum plate imbedded into the front cover that protects your screen. The case also is made to open like a book (the front opens to the left, opposite of most cases like the Rhino Skin).

The case comes in a great looking retail plastic pack that easily opens. The case is in half a black box (so that it can be seen from the front while packaged) and also included is the belt clip and belt clip post. The packaging looks great and looks very professional.

To put your PDA in the case is very simple. The PDA is held in the case by two arms that grip the sides of your PDA. You simply slide your PDA into the arms to put it in the case. To protect your PDA, the arms are also covered in soft leather. The arms hold the PDA securely and there is really no way that it could easily slip out by accident.

Closing and opening the case is very easy thanks to its magnet closure system. The magnet is strong enough to be secure, but not too strong that it is super hard to get open easily. The strap that keeps the case closed is also nice and thin so it is not very bulky.

Inside the case there is also a removable id card holder. It has a slot with a window on one side, and the other is very soft to protect your screen. The card holder comes in and out by sliding in and securing with a velcro strip.

On the inside of the case there is also slots for 2 SD cards and 2 Credit Cards. You also can see the aluminum plate through a cutout (the aluminum is etched with proporta). On the binding edge on the inside, there is a hole that works great to put your stylus or small pen into. There also is one larger pocket that can be used for cards or for when you insert the removable id card holder.

The belt clip system is very easy to use. There is a screw in the back that you unscrew, then you screw on the belt clip post, and finally slide on the belt clip. The post is very secure and the clip slides on easily. It also can rotate a full 360 degrees.

I can comment that Proporta has some of the best service I have ever seen. They are very courteous and a great joy to work with. Fast shipping, and good customer relations makes them a great company!

Overall the Proporta Book Style case is great. It provides awesome protection because of the aluminum plate, and the leather is nice and soft. The magnet closure is easy to use and also works great. The only problem that some will find with this case is that it is a bit thicker and bulkier because of the way it opens as a book. There is not much Proporta could do, but for most this will not be a problem at all.

Thanks to Proporta for the Review Sample!
