Naval Ship warfare is the classic game of battleship. You place your ships across the map, as does your opponent. Your opponent can either be a fellow human, or a computer of 2 different difficulties. The game contains lots of configuration features, which adds nicely to the gameplay.

When you click on "New Game" you will get the screen as shown above. As you can see, it contains lots of configuration options. You choose your opponent, either a human or a computer. You can also choose the difficulty of computer. There are also three different game types that you are able to choose from. You can change how many shots the offensive person gets each time (from one to six), along with a "1 shot per ship" gametype called Salvo. In Salvo, the number of shots you get is based on the amount of ships you have left. The other gametype is Blitz, where you keep shooting untill you miss. Then there are other options below after you choose the game style. You can add another ship to make a total of 6. You can add mines, in which a random mine will pop up somewhere. You can use airplanes to help look for oppenents, and you can set it so it doesn't mark where your previous shots where.

Then after choosing all of the settings, you can place your ships in the grid. You can drag them to where you want them, and also rotate them. Then each person (or computer) takes turns guessing and tapping on a block where they believe the other person's ship would be. The game ends when one person is out of ships. A nice feature is that you can save your game, and continue it at a later time. There are also multiple save slots.

After the game ends it gives you detailed stats such as accuracy, shots missed, etc.

The game is pretty fun, it is just like the original battleship that most of you have already played, except this makes it avaible for play on your Pocket PC. So if you like battleship, the game is a great buy. On the otherend, if you are not a battleship "fan", then I don't waste the $12. You can download the trial, or buy the game from Atechware.
