Resco Keyboard Pro Resco Keyboard Pro is a replacement for the built in keyboard program on Pocket PCs. It adds the ability to use a customizable keyboard that can be used with different skins and different displays to easily input characters and text. When your purchase Resco Keyboard Pro, like most other Pocket PC programs,
you download the trial and then they send you a serial you put in to register
the program and unlock all the features. The serial is tied to your owners name
so when you tell them your owners name during the purchase process, the serial
they give you will only work with that owners name. All the options are handled through the input settings screen that is already on your Pocket PC under the settings menu. That is where you can choose new skins and enter your registration info.
To use the keyboard, you select it under the input menu when you are at a point when you want to input text or characters. The keyboard consists of three different displays that are selectable on the keyboard itself. There is one that is like a normal keyboard, one setup like a calculator, and one for numbers and special symbols. This makes it easy to show just what you need and not have to be constantly using the shift button like with the built in keyboard.
The program also supports different skins that you can find on Resco's site so you can pick one that is to your liking. Skins are very easy to install and just consist of copying files over to a folder on your Pocket PC. Overall the keyboard is a great improvement over the built in keyboard. It is more visually pleasing and is easier to use as it splits up the buttons over 3 separate displays. I would highly recommend it if you are looking at a replacement for the built in keyboard. Thanks to Resco for the Review Sample!
